Summer Camps

We’re excited to share three great summer camp experiences for area children.  Each summer Reynolds Homestead hosts a variety of exciting, engaging and fun summer camps for area students. Check out our  Summer Camp Guide for this summer’s offerings! Camp Homestead June 25-27, ages 7-13, 9am – 12pm snacks provided daily!


Camp Homestead will include a variety of interactive field games, STEM challenges and adventures on the grounds of Reynolds Homestead. Enjoy 3 days playing, exploring, building and enjoying all summer has to offer. Camp will be held June 25-27, 9am –12pm. Snacks will be provided daily. Camp fee is $35 per person, registration and payment is due June 15th. Registration is required.





Under the Sea Art Camp July 16-19, ages 7-12, 9am – 12pm snacks provided daily!


Under the Sea art camp, led by art instructor Grace Helms will invite participants to explore beautiful colors and underwater creatures. Campers will create an underwater self-portrait, water themed art works inspired by artists such as Picasso, and create drawings that combine multiple sea animals. Watercolors will be used to create a seascape. Campers will build sculptures, dance, paint water with their toes (and with different rhythms) and express themselves!

Camp will be held July 16-19, 9am –12pm. The week will culminate in an art show for parents & friends on Thursday July 19 noon until 1pm. Snacks will be provided daily. Camp is $40 per person. Registration and payment due July 6. Registration is required.


Space Camp July 23-25, ages 6-12, 9am – 12pm snacks provided daily!


Space Camp, led by Kristin Hylton will provide children the opportunity to search the mysteries of the universe and learn why astronomy is such a fast-paced, growing science. Each day we will investigate a different aspect of space using math, science, art and engineering to create a hands-on learning experience sure  to please every budding explorer.

Camp will be held July 23-25, 9 am –12pm. Snacks will be provided daily. Camp is $35 per person.Registration and payment due July 13th. Registration is required.




Polar Express Pajama Party: Check back for 2018 date!

Polar Express is our annual Holiday celebration in which families are invited, in their PJs of course, to Reynolds Homestead for dinner, hot chocolate bar, viewing of the movie Polar Express and family fun! Admission is $10 per person. Please contact Sarah Wray at 276-694-7181 ex.27 to register.

Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Celebration 

Keep an eye out in early 2019 for upcoming information regarding the annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration.  You could not, would not, should not miss our Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration. Each year we invite all book lovers to join us as we celebrate the beloved children’s author, Dr. Seuss. The afternoon is full of read alouds, arts, crafts, face painting, photobooth and Seuss inspired snacks. Contact Sarah Wray to register or call 276-694-7181 ex.27.
