Design and Create Jewelry from Polymer Clay Beads

Jewelry artist Patricia Coleman will be hosting a Polymer Clay Bead class on Sunday, March 3 at the Creative Arts Center in Stuart. The class is $30 per person and will run from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

According to Coleman, making your own polymer clay beads is a fun way to to make personalized jewelry, custom gifts, and gorgeous decorations and accessories. While buy pre-made beads can be purchased from a craft store, homemade beads add a personal touch and artistic flair to the jewelry that can never be achieved with store-bought beads. Homemade beads also allow for more creativity and uniqueness of style, especially when you master the basic process and begin to explore more complex patterns and shapes.

All materials are provided in the class and Coleman will lead the group through making the beads, and designing and creating custom jewelry from them.

The Creative Arts Center is located at 334 Patrick Avenue in Stuart, and it is an outreach arts center of the Reynolds Homestead. To register for the class, call 276-694-7181 x 21 or download the registration form:  Class Registration
