Facility Rental

The Continuing Education Center is the perfect place to hold your event. Weddings, class and family reunions, parties, banquets and other celebrations are even more special held out in this beautiful setting. The rental fees are very reasonable and our staff will do their best to make your event perfect.
The facility includes:
- Multi-purpose
room:
- Seats approximately 125 with tables
and chairs and 275 without tables
- Contains (8) - eight foot banquet tables, (6) - six foot banquet tables,
(12) - six foot banquet tables, (6) - six foot lightweight rectangular plastic
topped tables, (8) - six foot round tables, 80 stacking chairs, and 200 folding chairs
- Kitchen:
- Includes
use of stove, refrigerator, microwave, and ice machine
- Cookware,
utensils, serving dishes, flatware, and linens are not available.
- Meeting
rooms on lower level
- Deck and foyer areas of the Continuing Education Center
- Restrooms
are located on both upper and lower levels
Conditions
of Rental
- A
$100 security deposit is required within 14 days of booking, or no less than 7 days before the event.
- The
Continuing Education Center is a non-smoking facility. Ash trays are available outside.
- Serving
alcohol requires the appropriate ABC Banquet License. Contact
the local ABC office for information or visit www.abc.state.va.us.
- The integrity of the building, grounds, and
exhibits shall be respected.
- The
renting party shall leave the building and grounds in the same
condition as found. The deposit will be refunded once it is
determined that the facilities were left in satisfactory condition.
- Set
up and clean up are the responsibility of the renting party.
- Decorations
are permitted but cannot be attached to painted surfaces and cannot
damage the facility in any way. Use of confetti and glitter is not permitted. Exhibitions may not be tampered with.
- All
trash must be removed from the buildings and grounds. There is a dumpster on the property for your convenience.
- The
floors must be left clean.
- No
pets are allowed in the Continuing Education Center.
- Events
must end by 11 p.m.
- Cancellation
Policy: Security deposits will not be refunded if cancellation
is made within 7 days of an event.

- Laptop computer
- Digital projector for slide shows and presentations
- Catering for groups of 24 or fewer
